The likelihood that I ever need a mugshot is very low, but  the likelihood that I or a family member get killed by a DUI here in Tampa is very high.  The problem is epic - the news if filled with innocent people getting killed by DUIs.

So why have a legal limit? Why have a field sobriety test? Screw it, let's bring everyone in. Washed your hands with hand sanitizer? You're **CENSORED**ed, get over it.

"Get over it"

- see, it works both ways and in this case neither makes sense.

STRIP MY FREEDOMS, AS LONG AS I'M SAFE.

I believe that's how the war on terror is funded.

I'm willing to give up a little to prevent innocent people from getting killed.

Get over it.

Interesting response..... was told the same when involved in a similar situation. I wasn't arrested....but was asked "who's car are you driving?", was ticketed for wreckless driving even though i was driving 40mph 2 blocks after leaving my then g/f's house. Took it to court... and lost.

Young man, nice car, bling-bling....... just sayin'.

Thank God Mike Will was driving sober then...looks like the cops need to go after the drunk people in your area, rather than targeting sober ones...

Get over what? That thousands of innocent people get killed each year by DUIs?

What about the freedom of the victims of drunk drivers? You don't care about their freedom to live another day?

Drunk drivers need to have harsher sentences.  It is clearly not enough of a detterent to fine them and strip them of their driving priviledge for a while.
