Brignac needs to be replaced ASAP -
Omg... first time I have ever agreed with you.

Too bad we don't have anything in house right now to be much of an upgrade.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Tough loss, allowing 4 or 5 runs because guys could see the friggin' ball in the OF.

Good news is Jennings was called up after the game, and Brignac was sent down:

I'm glad football is back because, the Rays have simply bored me this year. One of the reasons I think no one goes to the games is this team is completely boring and devoid of any Offensive talent outside 2-3 players. No one wants to watch a team that scores 2 runs a game.

Can't believe they were almost swept by KC.

I actually heard the Indians were interested in Upton and offered a package of 2/3 players to get him. Jason Donald, Rafael Perez, Lou Marson, choice of Gomez/McAllistair,

The offense will come soon. Won't happen this year though.

1. Jennings
2. Lee
3. Beckham
4. Longo
5. Joyce
6. Rodriguez

Zobrist will be 31 soon. I think he'll get traded along with Upton and Brignac. We need more power in the order that's for DAMN sure.

Offense won't come soon enough, by the time the Rays let all those players play in the Big Leagues they will be playing in another state. I'm proud they've stayed competitive throughout the season with a small payroll, but unless they learn to manufacture runs their starting staff will just be wasting quality starts. It seems anytime the Rays gets bases loaded you know they will not score.

I had a feeling early in the season that our pen would be a major problem......

And shockingly enough, you were wrong.  The bullpen hasn't been a "major problem".

All this trade talk (Shields, Upton, others) has put a cloud over this team.   Just thankful that they were competitive up until nearly August.  I really had much lower expectations for the team - possibly even being in the cellar looking up at Balt and Toronto.  It was  good ride - hopefully they can salvage a decent record and develope their players for next season.

Some fan you are, but reading this board on a daily basis I know you aren't.

You got that right - I'm a follower, spectator. I watch sports for entertainment. But fan? Not really a fan of any team in any sport.

Well, I can't argue that.  It's very clear you don't what the hell you are talking about on most subjects, sports included.

What I find sad is the inordinate amount of time you spend on a fansite since you aren't a fan.  Maybe if you weren't such a clueless wonder, you could find human interaction away from a fansite that you admit you aren't even a fan of.

**CENSORED**ing christ. The Indians likely landed Ubaldo Jimenez and gave up the damn farm to do so. I'm pissed,

Free swinger Upton didn't get traded. Wish he would've, but Rays probably wanted too much for what he is worth.
