Lazoran, I like your first 3 picks, but IMO McDaniel is a SS and we are stacked there.  We need a FS.  Noel Devine I like, but not sure if I want to spend a 5th round pick on him.  However, I doubt we could get him any later.  I prefer Chad Spann.

McDaniel can play either FS or SS.. I think wiht Tanard coming back a Jackson and McDaniel duo would be pretty good. Devine I think is a better overrall running back then a lot of backs in the draft but Spann definitly has him on the size.

So you're drafting him to replace Grimm....not Tanard? That is.....interesting.

1. DE Aldon Smith - Would provide an explosiveness off the edge.
2. TE Kyle Rudolph - Pass catching tight end, that has upside, injury history a concern
3. LB Mason Foster - Linebacker that could potentially play all three spots
4. WR Cecil Shorts - Speed receiver, good hands, shows burst, good fluidity and balance
5. T Marcus Gilbert - Bigger tackle prospect, moves well for size can move the LOS
6. CB / S Jalil Brown - Corner safety tweener
7. G Ray Dominquez - Big guard that can play in space or in a phone booth solid pass protector developing run blocker

how about taking cam jordan at 1, plug him in at RE and move mccoy to LE.  that would give us a very impressive DL, with a very impressive backup DL.

the the only other change would be ahmad black in the in 4th, even though dom hinted at it i still dont see a need for a WR.

Im drafting him for insurance to Tanard but Yes I think McDaniels will be a better player then Grimm.
