I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

And how many of those teams needed a QB?

And are 31 teams still kicking themselves for passing on Tom Brady 6 times?

Who the **CENSORED** knew who Tom Brady was? A part time starter for Michigan who nobody even really knew about. A Rodgers was a potential top pick who EVERYONE knew about and had a chance to Vet and workout. Some even told him he would be taken if he was their at their pick. I wonder if anyone told Brady that cybeygirl.

Is it a shock that teams with bad records make bad decisions with their draft picks?

Why do morons continue to compare Aaron Rodgers to Tom Brady as draft prospects?

Why do morons continue to compare Aaron Rodgers to Tom Brady as draft prospects?

Why do morons continue to live in 2005?

It doesnt matter who the coach or GM was, there was zero chance the Bucs would have drafted Rodgers. Absolutely no chance at all. This team was not in the market for a QB. Plain and simple. They drafted Chris Simms in 2003 to be the future QB. Rodgers was not even the top rated QB of that draft. Alex Smith was.

Why is this hindsight crap continuously brought up in here?

And in my opinion, the Packers are not really all that fantastic. They are a 10-6 team that peaked at just the right time. Rodgers last year was the most sacked QB in the NFL, and he has already suffered numerous concussions including 2 this year alone. The 0-7 Bucs beat them!

Gruden began the morning by telling Rodgers the meeting was a get- acquainted session to see if there was a level of compatibility, and that "we wouldn't be here if we weren't players in this."

The 2010 Packers were a 14-2 team stricken by injuries and bad luck.  The opposite of the Falcons.

How many times do you need to be educated on the same subject?  Everything you just typed is 100% incorrect.

And whoever thought Brian Griese and Chris Simms were the answer to any QB question deserved to be fired.

I think the writer of the article is aiming for the same of times you brought up how the owners are cheap and don't want to win.

Who won the NFC South in 2005?

The same team that won in 2007 with Gaines Adams as the first round draft choice.  Why?

I am not a fan of people going back saying we should of took this player in the draft. The draft is a risk and the truth is you do not know how good that player is going to be in the NFL but your taking a risk/chance on them and at that time you thought he was going to be the best player for your team. Its funny to go back and say what the OP posted but its not neccesary to be mad and be like omg we didn't take him, look at him now. The fact is nobody expected Rodgers to be this good, no one expected Tom Brady to be this good, no one expected all the players drafted after their pick to be that goood but they are.
