He would immediately be the best DE on the Bucs if they picked him up.   But the Glazers are too cheap.

Looks like GAMETIME could get his wish.  I think he's a bust. But GT and a few others think he was in the wrong defense.  I guess if we sign him or some other 4-3 team grabs him then we'll find out the truth

i think its definitely worth a shot.  he is the "prototype" 4-3 RE.  offer an incentive laden contract to play with a line with a lot of young potential.

I'd give Gholston a shot in a 4-3, because maybe it was just the system and he couldn't adjust to the 3-4.
I will say this he did need a change of scenery because he had worn out his welcome with the Jets.
The guy played DE in a 4-3 in college and was crazy good, i'm all for bringing him in and giving him a new start and playing in a system he's more comfortable in.

No thanks. If the guy had some pass rushing ability then he would have more than 0 sacks in his career.

Oh what Kris Jenkins could've been...

I would take Gholston dirt cheap and I would also take Kris Jenkins on a good contract no matter ho we have at DT or how many quality ones we have. Dude was special. I hope he gets healthy wherever he goes and dominates, so long as it isn't against us.

He has  zero career sacks? He played outside linebacker and DE for the jets and didn't produce a SINGLE sack...if you cant get a sack in Rex Ryans defense something must be very wrong.

He was playing 3-4 DE, not OLB, it's hard for an undersize 3-4 DE to get a sack.

For a low contract I wouldn't mind us giving him a try.

That's got to be at least $20 million in 2011 salaries. Woody Johnson is cheap and doesn't want to win. It's a shame what he's doing to Jets fans.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.
