Raises would be capped to the rate of inflation, unless state voters approve. The legislation also would require unions to hold a new certification vote every year, and unions would no longer be allowed to collect dues from workers' paychecks.

I work in a union based job. Do I believe its a corrupt business? Sure. But without them, who knows what types of benefits and pay I would receive. I don't think its right to take from teachers, police officers and firefighters. Those people make pennies on the dollar already. Meanwhile our elective officials have everything paid for (medical, dental, vision) and make 100k a year.

Bit slow there John boy.It is also the reason why we have witholding. If people actually had to write a check each April they might be a bit more attentive to the amount of tax paid and what it is spent on.
