Kinda one-sided dont you think?  Im sure for every post that supports your position one can be found for the alternate.

Im really not trying to choose sides, but cmon produce something that shows neutrality.

Why? It supports my point that Unions are at the very least part of the problem.

i think it hits the nail square on the head.

Unions are an organized voting block and tax payers aren't. Unions know this and can extort elected officials while ordinary tax payers split their votes for other reasons and suffer the burden.

This is just the kind of stuff the Socialists and Communists that are supporting/organizing these rallies are wanting.

Raises would be capped to the rate of inflation, unless state voters approve. The legislation also would require unions to hold a new certification vote every year, and unions would no longer be allowed to collect dues from workers' paychecks.

Now we see the REAL reason for the uproar

^^ Both from the dems and the heads of the unions.  The dems make hundreds of millions off of unions.

You didn't realize this? Bit slow there John boy.

It is also the reason why we have witholding. If people actually had to write a check each April they might be a bit more attentive to the amount of tax paid and what it is spent on.

I work in a union based job. Do I believe its a corrupt business? Sure. But without them, who knows what types of benefits and pay I would receive. I don't think its right to take from teachers, police officers and firefighters. Those people make pennies on the dollar already. Meanwhile our elective officials have everything paid for (medical, dental, vision) and make 100k a year.

You might want to check the salaries of your own Union officials before you start throwing stones at your boss's windows.

Yes. I actually got a bid in processing, so I'll be making the product now.

I have never liked the term "organized labor" when used to describe unions. Unions don't "organize" labor, management does. Ownership organizes resources and hires management to organize labor to turn those resources into products. Without ownership, resources would sit in the ground unused. And without management, labor would just sit around not knowing what to do. Unions have nothing to do with turning raw materials into products. They are parasites that suck off the workers while contributing nothing to the economy. They are killing their host. Owners can outsource labor to non-union countries and still get their product made, but labor can't move to Bangladesh so they become unemployed. Seems like that is "disorganizing labor" if you ask me.
