4 Trillion cut in spending proposed

While that may be one suggestion here is my suggestion


Remove troops from Iraq and Afghanistan , ending the drug war, stopping any entitlements for illegal immigrants surely would come close the $400 billion a year required to reach that 4 trillion reduction in a decade.

$400 - $100 - $144 - $80 = 76 Billion a year add $47 billion in revenue and that looks like about 30 Billion left in additional cuts needed.

Additionally with a little friendlier Corporate tax situation.

Make the US a desirable place for large American Corporations to locate their Home offices. Currently the US has 35% corporate tax rate by locating over seas corporations can reduce that to about 15 to 20%. The US needs to compete with the rest of these countries. Even at a 15 % rate would be better than getting a big fat (0) at present not to mention all those jobs that would become available with home offices in the US.

Finally about that Military industrial complex and perhaps being a bit more frugality would be in order as the video points out...




Now all we need is leadership with conviction and greatness to make such prudent decisions.

Say we have $1.5 trillion dollar deficits every year for the next 10 years. That means $15 trillion added to the national debt over that time period.

We cut $4 trillion out of the budget over the next 10 years. So 15 minus 4 equals 11. So that means our choice is Obama's plan which adds $15 trillion to the debt or the GOP plan that adds $11 trillion?

I do believe with my suggestions those expenditures wouldn't be 1.5 trillion deficits every year.  There definitely needs to be huge downsizing in the government and even more unnecessary pork.
