He's a vet. He should be perfectly used to being told to sit down and shut up. I'm sure he's been told that a few times in his military career, including basic training.
Any ex-military that plays the "vet card" is a weakling, in my opinion.
Our Soldiers will be paid. Our Soldiers are very well compensated and appreciated by the American people. We won't let them down.

This video was posted by a conservative website called "retirejimmoran.com" which has a whole slew of videos where they have planted people in townhall meetings to disrupt them, so it's probably safe to assume that his remarks were meant to be caustic and to get a rise out of the Congressman. Not to mention, the veteran in the video is scheduled to be on Fox News next week. Veteran's are just as partisan as civilians. The fact that he served doesn't automatically put the Congressman in the wrong for addressing him that way. That being said, a bit more discretion on the part of Jim Moran would have probably been wise.

They seem more aimed at Congress in general like "I watched CPAN and both sides of the aisle did nothing but blame the other...". Everything the Vet said I absolutely agree with.Time to THROW THEM ALL OUT!!

Everything the Vet said I absolutely agree with.Time to THROW THEM ALL OUT!!All due respect to the man for his service. But the Congressman did allow him to complete his question, which was a quite lengthy one, I might add. It wasn't until he interrupted the answer that the Congressman lost his composure. It begs the question, how much floor time should this gentleman been given? And if it was an honest question, why interrupt the answer? It is entirely possible that the Congressman knew who this man was there on behalf of, and that affected his response to him.
The Congressman's answer was 100% true, BTW. He is not a member of the majority party. He does not decide when they are or are not in session, and him being at a town hall rather than an empty chamber of Congress does seem to be a better use of his time.
The jackwagon Congressman insulted him and called his question a "caustic assault". The Congressman works FOR US. We pay his over exuberant salary, we elected him. So HE needs to show respect to the Voter. That's part of the problem. These jackwagon Congressmen (on both sides of the aisle) think they are somehow better than us and above us. They act like we are too stupid to understand how their robbing us blind is really helping us.
My only question would be; "Mr. Moran, did you voice any opposition to adjournment on the House Floor? Did you make ANY attempt to try to persuade members to NOT go on vacation?"I gotta feeling the answer would be either "no" or "well, I wasn't there, I had already left early". In either case=FAIL
How is "WE"?
The Congressman works for everyone in that room, not just the soldier, which is why I asked the poignant question, how much floor time should this gentleman been given?
