OK. And when was the last time you saw a 6-year old white girl blow up an airplane.

The people that do this are muslims! Why doesnt anyone want to admit that?

We've had several discussions on profiling before on these boards and I think most of us agreed that it should be done in some to some degree in case like airport screening. But does it have a history of working?

sounds like a great parenting opportunity here. The parents could actually parent and teach their kids that this is a necessary procedure to fly safe and it deters bad people from trying to hurt us. Some bad guys are really smart and try to sneak past the machines, so to be safe we allow pat downs to out smart them.

Thats quite a stretch on the freedom isue. and Yes I teach them to be obediant to the state and enforcment. Thats their job as citizens. Also, Flying is a privledge. f you dont want a pat down then dont fly.

St. Petersburg Police Arrest 16-Year-Old Cop Killer

A teen responsible for the murder of a St. Petersburg cop on Monday night was taken into custody on Tuesday evening.

Nicholas L. Lindsey, 16, is suspected of shooting at close range, Officer David Crawford around 10:37 p.m. on Monday night, after the officer went to the 700 block of 3rd Avenue South to investigate a potential burglary.

Officer Crawford was responding to a call from a resident indicating that a man was observed holding a broken brick in his hand and it was though he was trying to commit a burglary in the area.  Officer Crawford, who had searched the area in his cruiser, found the man and had just come out of his cruiser, when the suspect, who later turned out to be Lindsay, shot in several time at point blank range.

Officer Crawford was taken to the Bayfront Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

A massive manhunt was launched by police and the FBI for the suspect.

Nicholas Lindsay who was captured on Tuesday night, without incident.

St. Petersburg Police Chief Charles “Chuck” Harmon said, Lindsey broke down when he was taken into custody, seemed remorseful and confessed to killing Officer Crawford.  Harmon offered no motive for the crime, but noted that Lindsey does have a criminal history.

A reward of $100,000, including $50,000 had been offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of Officer Crawford’s killer.

Yes, excellently put!  Kids get their cues from their parents - and you can just see the look in her eye that she is looking to mommy or daddy about how to act in that situation. 

And by mom or dad standing there with a camera on - you get this weird scene where the girl knows there's something wrong - yet mom and dad aren't intervening or explaining, just recording the scene so they can have "evidence" that she was mistreated.  And so handling the situation the way they did - it just implants this reactionary thought of "how dare they do this to ME" - instead of an overall understanding of the situation. 

And so what sort of attitude do you think that contributes towards as she grows up and makes sense of the world around her, and the unfortunate reality that she was born into?  One of acceptance and understanding? Or maybe a more segregative one - where only a certain type of people should be subjected to stuff like this...

If they were alive today they would be pounding for Americans to revolt right now. None of them could have imagined how gigantic and out of control the federal government would become.
