The owner of the plane/banner company is a Gator fan but he is a bigger $$$ fan.

I'll give the Noles that bought that credit, that's what good spirited rivalry should be about. Not poisoning trees like that idiot from Bama.

it was funny as an idea. im not really in favor of it in practice though. i heard rumors about this 2 days before it happened. now UF will really looking for blood when we come to the swamp in november.

Oh yeah, it is an airplane banner that's gonna motivate them and not last year's score or 50 years of in-state intense rivalry

well it sure doesnt help. people take that kind of stuff to heart. big defeats and jerk moves like that can fire you up. i thought it was lame and classless. im not happy that we are sinking to their level. UF pulled lame stuff like that at friday night lights and put the scores they beat us by on the scoreboard. its weak and petty. i suppose its better than poisoning trees like like alabama and auburn people do

i love that stuff.  whats a rivalry w/o sticking it to your rival whenever possible? If I was Jimbo during last years blowout,  i would have sent the whole team onto the field to rub it in like Georgia did a few years ago.

FSU and Georgia have to win one game vs. the Gators every 7-8 years. It wouldn't be a rivalry if they didn't win at least once a decade.

These things are cyclical buddy.  You guys had a nice run with Meyer&Tebow versus a declining FSU.  But the tide has turned.  We're back  and you no longer have Meyer at the helm.  Last year gave you a nice taste of what life will be like post Tebow.  I think WM will eventually get things in order and that Weiss will be a good hire but it could take time to get back on track.  In the meantime, we'll be more than happy to kick you while you're down.
