I don't know how a kid with this type of set-back performed at an elite level, he must be special.

He didn't participate in the Combine BP - because he couldn't - he will be at a definite disadvantage in the NFL...

If Dominick is this high on the kid - he's earned my respect, he knows what he's doing - I just can't get my head around it all yet. I guess in this instance, seeing is believing.

    Some people are negative toward the "unknown", and rookies, no matter their college resume, ARE unknown in the NFL. Some of us see the unknown as an opportunity, and in a positive sense. I wanted Pouncey as a future replacement for Faine, but this guy sounds like the next best thing, so I'm with'em on their selection. Millard with coach him up big-time!!

I don't dislike the Clayborn pick - and he has proven himself in a NCAA division with a tradition of great left tackles - and he did well there.

...but in college, even at the Division I level - they had weeks where they had it a bit easier...

When compared to the idea we were actually considering Cam Jordan...I LOVE Clayborn - but my point is, he MUST be special, because the talent he'll face every week will be the best he's ever seen...

Since I trust Dom - I'm choosing to believe Clayborn is that special. I'm just being honest about my concern - the NFC South is NOT the Big Ten.
