So many good guys left. This is how I felt last year when Blount and CJ Wilson were still available and we traded away our extra 7th to the Broncos and then took Lorig. An undersized slow TE that doesn't like physicality.....over Harvey, Herzlich, Spann, Grigsby, Devine, Wujciak, Gee, Baptise, Barnes, Fannin, Deunta Williams, and more? Weak sauce....Just like last year it was a solid draft, but I feel like we finished poorly and left good players on the board in the 7th round.

Between Jones, Jackson, and Lynch there was a spot open for a safety at that fourth spot.  At TE, I don't see it to be honest given the Bucs did draft a TE in the fourth round in the same draft.

Not to rub salt in your wound, but I don't think we'll even be able to sign any undrafted FA until a new CBA is reached.

That is true, which is even more reason why the last pick is puzzling from my point of view.  With that said, I think the Bucs are probably leaning on dumping Purvis most likely, but i remain skeptical of that possibility.

23 minutes... I think this first pick for us will be on offense...Running back or tight end...If Stocker or Virgil Green are there...I think we might take them...I know they like Ahmad Black and so maybe they just go ahead and grab him...

Wow you have  special visons..

Solid drafting.

Getting Clayborn was pretty much what most thought, including me, would happen.  But I also thought Cam JOrdan wouldn't be available, and we bypassed him for Adrian.  That is fine, because we have a pass rush specialist with a motor, who will start day 1.  He addressed a need.  Solid B pick, in my book.  Could have been an A with Jordan, but that is just my preference.  We'll see what happens.

Grabbing DeQuan Bowers was great because we need pass rush, and he was the clear cut BEAST of the draft....we'll see if he suits up first.  If he misses time this year (early) then he is a awful pick.  But if he suits up and gives us some production along the 5-7 sack range in year 1, I will give the guy an A.  This is an "up in the air" pick at the moment.  We all are smart enough to see the potential.  But we are all smart enough to be worried that he may have a very short career as well.

Mason Foster was a guy who had his stock rise toward the end.  Glad we took him, was very very happy, as a matter of fact.  He brings a solid linebacker into the mix, and we'll see how the training camp battle pans out...if there is one. B grade.

Luke Stocker was a guy I loved from jump.  Wanted him as a matter of fact.  He does everything nicely.  He had 29 bench reps, and he has a thick frame, and he can clearly catch and run better than the average Gilmore.  Perfect add to to the tight end corp, in terms of what he may bring eventually.  I do not expect much prodcution out of him in the near future, but I do think he is a willing blocker, and will find his spots on the field to make the occasional big play for Freeman...or whoever throws him the love. B grade.

Black...not sure what to think about this guy.  He is slow.  He is smallish.  But Raheem can coach, and Ahmad is apparently a guy with good instincts.  He might be a good backup for Grimm if he goes down again.  Do not expect him to start.  C grade.

The other guys...they Addressed needs.  I was glad they went with a thick bruiser at running back.  If Blount goes down, hopefully, the scheme does not change too much.  In theory, these guys will get the same plays to run, given their physical styles.  Hopefully Blount stays outta the "in the tub club", and this guy does not see the field much.  But he will add some comp to TCs.  Give this a C.  As for Gaitor....I know nothing about him other than he is light in the pants, he is physical despite it, short, can jump routes, and Rah will coach him up.  Sounds like a Ronde Barber type.  This is a C pick as well.

Gonna be interesting to see if the front 4 can stay upright.  That is my only concern.  Gotta bring the heat to the QBs, and Dominik clearly got the draft right in that regard!

Let's get this thing going...cannot wait for week 1!  (Again...if there IS a week 1)

Bump. A few of us liked Marcus Cannon. He's playing right tackle for the Patriots right now.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

I'm sure JDub has posted a 2013 mock already somewhere.
