I wonder if they'll go off Ahmad Black's game speed in college, or his 40 time and the combine. If the go off game speed he'll have 85 speed, if they go off his 40 time he'll get 70 speed and be useless.

I have no effing clue. Last year Grimm ran 4.64 40 at the combine (http://www.nfl.com/combine/top-performers#year=2010&workout=FORTY_YARD_DASH&position=LB)and he has 79 SPD. Watson ran a 4.56 and has 86 SPD.

GMC is a stud on that game. But, I already know for me stop Vick I'm going to need some fast DE's. I already know some idiot is going to cheese the game with Cam Newton.

True. I had a dude try that crap with Troy Smith of all people. I put Watson at LE and squashed that shat real quick.

I wonder if they'll rate Bowers higher than Clayborn

GMC is definitely a beast. I wonder if Freeman, Blount, and Mike Williams will get the ratings boost they deserve?

They've already been given ratings boosts in the updates for Madden 11.

I saw that boost. I think Blount is better than an 83. Just my opinion. :)

I agree of course, but 83 is not too shabby for a rookie. He'll probably start off at 85 or 86 in the new Madden 12.

Draft Aaron Donald

A little explanation on the predicted Speed ratings I posted earlier:

Fastest Rookie DE's on Madden11 are Hughes and Sapp with 85 SPD. Hughes ran a 4.69 and Sapp ran a 4.70.

Dunlap ran a 4.71 at last year's combine and is 84 speed. JPP has 84 speed (4.71 @ combine) as does Hart from JAX (4.62 @ his pro day).

Clayborn ran 4.83 this year @ the combine exactly the same as Maiava in 2009 combine (80 SPD).

Thinking about it, I should have given Clayborn 78-80 SPD max.

Bowers ran a 4.91-4.95 @ his pro day on April 1. I know he wasn't at full health/recovery. Some sites had estimated him running as low as a 4.76 if healthy. I could see him with 82 SPD max, if EA wanted to be generous. Realistically I think they will give Bowers 75-78 SPD.

Dekoda Watson and Jamar Chaney ran the fastest 40s at the combine last year @ LB. 4.56 and 4.54 respectively. They both have 86 SPD.

Mason Foster ran a 4.75 at the combine(Same as Follett at 2009 combine), but 4.67 at his pro day. In the 2010 combine Darryl Washington ran a 4.66 and Sean Weatherspoon 4.68. Washington has 85 SPD and Weatherspoon has 83 SPD.

I'm thinking they will give Foster 82-84 SPD.

Gaitor ran a 4.3 and 4.44 at his pro day. The later was same as Brandon Ghee @ 2010 combine, he has 91 SPD.

I think EA will give Gaitor 90 SPD max.

Also have to factor in how our team speed gets messed with just because we are Bucs. lol

Not very realistic. Raymond James is never that full.  :P

Oh definitely great for a rookie. Do you think Aqib(if we still have him) will be over a 90 overall. i believe he should, he has shown that.

I think Talib deserves an 85. He's too inconsistent to be the the 90s with the big boys.

Draft Aaron Donald
