I can see Raheem sitting down with a bowl of popcorn like he is at the movies.   Getting all hyped up watching game tape.

Plus he reportedly ran a 4.3 and had a 39.5 vertical at his pro day. With that kinda speed and leaping ability he can get higher than many 6'2" recievers.

I'm hoping he is a Brent Grimes type of CB. That dude is 5'10" 180lbs also, but he takes over games. Very under rated imo. In fact, if the CBA gets done and we go back to 4 years = free agent....I'd love to steal Grimes from Atlanta. I know Barber is leaving next year and Talib is probably done in Tampa, but I'd feel pretty good about Biggers, Lewis, Grimes, and Gaitor.

After watching the Cody Grimm highlights, I think he could definitely be our strong safety for years to come. Would be fun to watch him and Ahmad Black, see how they work together.

I think Raheem is confident that he can find average DBs late in the draft that have certain attributes, and then coach them up to be very good football players. So far he appears to know what he is doing. I have a feeling Raheem watches way more DB tape before the draft than any other position. He probably has 4 or 5 guys each draft that he really likes but are projected to go late. I think he was ecstatic to get Ahmad Black and Anthony Gaitor in the 5th and 7th.

With the Talib situation I wouldn't be surprised if there is another gem or two he has his eye on that went undrafted. I'll be looking to see what undrafted DBs we sign when free agency starts up.

Mike Gee. This guy's hometown is like 5 minutes from Raheem's hometown. Maybe he'll wanna give him a shot.
