Casey Anthony found not guilty

As I posted throughout this thread.....mom killed Caylee, but the prosecutors didn't prove it, giving the the jury no other choice but to vote as they did.

The jury foreman in the Casey Anthony trial said in an anonymous interview with FOX's Greta Van Susteren many of jurors thought the young woman killed her daughter Caylee Marie, myfoxatlanta.com is reporting.

But they found Anthony not guilty of the most serious charges, including first-degree murder, because the State Attorney's Office never showed how it happened. He described a feeling of "disgust" at the predicament.

Not a rhetorical question, morgan. If this hadn't happened to her, what kind of life do you think she would have had?

I imagine that none of us would have ever heard of her, and she would have grown up much like her mother. Then, in twenty years, she would end up treating her own children in the same manner and we would be vilifying her instead.

Just a thought. One that probably doesn't fit too well in your black and white world. But again, what kind of life do you think this little girl might have had?

If we are going to play "what if" then consider this; When Caylee was born, Casey wanted to put her up for adoption but Cindy (Casey's mom) demanded that she keep the child. WHAT IF mom had minded her own biz and let the obviously immature and unreliable Casey give the kid to adoptive parents?

Like I've said before.... what happened here is overzealous prosecution that was probably politically motivated. The state did not believe in their wildest dreams that a jury would let Casey walk. So they tried to shoot for the moon with first degree murder all these aggravated crimes that call for the death penalty.

In other words, the state gave no out for the jury. They went all or nothing.

Interesting theory - but doubt if an educated socio-psychologist would agree.

A highly educated evolutionary psychologist would.

exactly. The child was last seen 30 days before being reported missing. Then Casey claimed she had been kidnapped for 30 days. Seems like child neglect and child abandonment would be pretty easy to prove, but they didn't even try to go that route. As soon as the ME said they couldn't determine a cause of death, they should have forgotten about going for Murder 1. They had tons of evidence to show abandonment/neglect but used it all to paint her as unremorseful  instead of using it to show her as negligent.

The prosecution should have gotten the Bernice Bowen jury. They would have given her life.
