circumstantial evidence is as good or better than direct evidence sir!-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------There is no reason to be prejudiced against evidence simply because it is circumstantial evidence. You make decisions on the basis of circumstantial evidence in the everyday affairs of life. There is no reason why decisions based on circumstantial evidence should not be made in the courtroom. In fact, proof by circumstantial evidence may be as conclusive as would be the testimony of witnesses speaking on the basis of their own observation. Circumstantial evidence, therefore, is offered to prove a certain fact from which you are asked to infer the existence of another fact or set of facts. Before you decide that a fact has been proved by circumstantial evidence, you must consider all of the evidence in light of reason, experience and common sense.
how in the world do 12 people lose sight of the facts?she was the last one with Casey - you mean the last one seen? The body was found hidden - doesnt point directly to anybodyShe is the girls primary care taker - meaninglessShe has never told the thurth to this day (que It wasnt me song) - being a liar doesnt make her a murdererShe has the exact brand of duct tape in her house - a brand that is uncommon. - hardly conclusive - that could mean that the person who did it was just in her house?Take the above facts and add in her behavior during the time the child was dead....what additional evidence is needed???Eh - how the child died? This generation is completely lost about what is truth...i guess we really can't know anything or believe anything according to this jury...
