After reading this thread I realized I haven't seen anything like "we should trade everyone we have for tebow, or at least everyone we have who is black.." Is Java banned again? Better atmosphere without him, hope I didnt jinx it...

No,  he is still around.   He is pumping up Freeman now, next I expect him to start singing Raheems praises.  Then hell will freeze over.

I think the curveball will be Dom does nothing.   Re-signs our guys but doesn't bring anyone in. Then in December he signs Freeman to an extension worth 50-60 mil and that takes us to the cap floor.

Rather or not this is what happens remains to be seen. However, Dominik has shown that he has a little more sense than to waste away a free agency period, in which he has 50-60million dollars on ONE PLAYER that's already under contract. Now, I completely understand we're gonna have to pay Freeman but...Jesus???

Mankins!

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

One wild card I could see is Vontae Leach.

He's the complete definition of a fairweather fan... but I'll try to stay on topic.  ;D

Dom will probably swing a reasonable offer for Aso. If the Bucs actually gave FAT AL a swing, why wouldn't they at least "swing" for Aso (he's better pound for pound, and his personality doesn't stink like Al's)? If that doesn't happen, and Aso won't buy into the Bucs, I imagine that he'll go after a somewhat unknown player that he's extensively researched, or throw a trade out to someone we didn't expect like ACrom.

I think we might be surprised with the OL. They've underproduced for the last two seasons and their contracts are about to give out (DJ & True). I seriously doubt True stays. His position will probably be upgraded by Clabo or Yanda in FA. I have my doubts that Dom resigns DJ too. (Not his or Rah's guy)

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

As much as i would love for MD to make a big splash i truly believe his main focus will be to sign our free agents and rookies. Maybe a signing or two here but nothing ground breaking.

Here is my wish list

Sign Mankins for 8-10 mil a year, let Djoseph walk and save 4-5M per year net increase of 5-6M a year...Mankins is worth it.   (Add $5M)
Trade next years second and one of our Safeties to NO for Nicks sign him for ~8 to 10M (Add 10M)
Try to get a 4th or 5th for Faine...or just cut him save 5-6 Mil, Let Larsen / Zuttah and O'Dawd compete for C, target it as
a possibility for next years draft.  (Cut $5M)
Let Trueblood walk (save $2-3M), Get Yanda / Clabo at RT for 5-7Mil.  (Add net $5M)
Sign Rbush for $5M (Add $5M)

For ~$20M we get serious upgrades at LG, RG, RT and an outstanding COP/ 3rd down back / slot option / Return Specialist. I think Larsen will be a better C than Faine as well.

Sign JJoseph at CB for ~10M (+10M)
Let Ruud walk (save $2-3M) and Sign Poslusni(sp) @ $2-3M to compete with Foster and McKenzie at Mike. (Wash)
Sign Mario Harvey and Heslich to compete for roster spots at LB / ST
Give Watson a shot at SAM with Foster / McKenzie pushing him, let black walk (Save $2-3M)
Sign Davis from Carolina for ~4M to compete at WILL (Add $4M)

For ~12M Basically we maintain at Mike, have a good replacement for Talib at roughly the same price we would have had to pay him...with no character concerns, and possibly upgrade at Will.

That is what you could get for 30-35 Million....

Target CB, C, and the weakest 2 LB spots in next years draft

1 of his 14,5 career sacks.   After 5 years in the league.

He had 2,5 sacks last season.

Pass!

I wouldn't be too surprised if we did sign a wide reciever. MD said he would look for more targets for Free, but so far hes only drafted a 6th round running back, a 4th round te, whos more of a blocker, and a 7th round te who im not sure will make it further that PS this season.

I however hope we sign a offensive guard, hopefully blalock or nicks, and a corner, aso, joseph.

I would love a trade for Osi.  Especially if the price is similar to the  Winslow deal.  Best sack-fumble artist in the game?  Yes please.

I got a curve ball. Dom won't really like any of the FAs available enough to give big time money, and he prefers trades.....so out of nowhere it will be announced we have traded Josh Johnson, along with our 1st and 2nd round draft pick to the 49ers for Patrick Willis and a 4th round pick...and then signed him to a 7 year / $85M deal with $20M upfront.  :-*

No thanks. Our O-line would still suck and we would have no picks to do anything about it
