They usually rate us pretty high, so I'm going with 83.

So far they have released the following.....

Steelers - 90
Patriots - 88
Jets - 87
Ravens - 86
Chargers - 85
Chiefs - 84
Dolphins - 78
Raiders - 76
Broncos - 74
Browns - 74
Bills - 73
Bengals - 71

I'm gonna have to stay with 81. Of course I expect free agency to drastically change all of these ratings.

Ya, I think in between the Chiefs and Dolphins is realistic.

Also, anyone care to guess on the trio? Free5, Mike Will, and Blount?

Blount finished last year as an 81

Mike Will was a 83

Free5 was an 86

I'll predict 85 for Blount, 85, for Mike Will, and 89 for Free5.

On a separate note, I think it's hilarious that Erik Lorig played FB full time for about 8 weeks last season and did a damn good job....and ended the year as a 52. WTF? And this Donnie guy that does the Madden ratings is supposedly a Bucs fan.....yeah right.

Biggers ended the year as a 69, Grimm was 70, and Lewis a 66.....while Elbert Mack was a 68? ok. Grimm's speed was 79....really? Cause he's white? Dude ran a 4.48 and a 4.5 and his game speed is very fast, yet he is slower than all of our linebackers? Again....wtf?

Instead of one guy doing stats for 1600+ guys, maybe they should one guy for NFC and one for AFC? Or better yet have 8 guys, one for each division.

If the Chiefs are 84, then I'd have to bump my estimate from 81 to at least 82, maybe 83. Realistically, I don't see how the Chiefs could be rated higher than us, but since I know this is Madden, I am going to figure we are rated lower. Just not that much lower.

Newton is the highest rated rookie QB at 77....bwahahhaha. I guess that's realistic, as long as his awareness in 6.

Madden rater is a joke.  We get it we get it.

It is a video game, and celebrity sells.  Get used to it.  The game is not realistic at all.

It's the most realistic football game out there and it gets better every year...it just sucks it could be so much better if more attention was paid to the ratings.

I play it, but it still sucks.  It is all we have unfortunately.

EA bought out the rights from ESPN, who made a better game.

I am an avid gamer, but I think ESPN made a better game.  Madden does suck for many reasons.  The rating system is absurd.  A 10 win team with a stud QB, and a franchise record setting WR gets the balls.  Shows you how much it sucks.  Big deal.  But the guy who does the ratings for Madden is a lazy P.O.S.

I'm not gonna call him a lazy PoS...but I wish they'd get him some assistance. There are just too many players for one guy to realistically keep up with.

If he is sticking to a formula, which he clearly is, he is a lazy P.O.S.  He is not doing his homework, one man can clearly do this job if he does a little reading.  Collegiate athletes are all based on hype anyhow.  What they did, their resumes.  But for him to ladder scale everyone is a lack of effort, and him being lazy.  Which is why Madden sucks.  They should eliminate the BS aspects of the game, and get the meat and potatoes part of it right.  They have not.

Madden is all I have.  So I play Madden.  But ESPN made a better game, IMO.  Subjectivity is what makes me happy.

And BTW, he is a Bucs fan.  Go figure why he lacks the cajones to give them their due.  Freeman, based on his numbers is a 89 at the worst.  Williams, given his numbers and the position he plays, is a 90 at worst.

what get me is the rating that gets takes a huge hit if a player joins the Bucs. Look a Sean Jones on last years game, he was tanked 8 points OVR

if we did sign scrabble he's go from 98 OVR to 88 OVR just for signing.

i really don't think Donny is a Bucs fan but he claims he is to justify stiffing us over the ratings

Due to the Head Coaching circumstances, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned back on. We appreciate your patience.

I'm going to go with 82... highlights will be:

Freeman will have an overall at or right below 90 based upon him showing out last year.
Williams will probably get around the same level.
K2 will be 90 or above, no doubt.
Blount will be around 85.
On defense, probably no one other than McCoy and Talib will get as high as the top offensive guys.
