 Roger Goodell is a slick guy. This whole press conference was all a ploy to put the pressure on the players to get a deal done. Basically the owners took a vote and passed it then got on tv and said yay football. Demaurice smith or any of the player reps for that matter even new about this press conference. Imagine the shock watching espn. Now the fans are looking at the players like sign it! Goodell is trying to back them in a corner. How long was he planning this? Do you think he is the one who even started the rumors about the deal getting done tonight?

Yup, I'd understand where the players were coming from if they were given a bad deal. But this is MORE than fair and they still want more. I thought these jackasses just wanted to play football?

Right the owners have been saying that but when the players met yesterday they had no actual document to read and agree to. The owners had that. Also the owners agreed to a supplemental revenue share but it was never even proposed to the players. The analyst on espn are explaining it real good. Check it out.
