Its the nfl who wants you to think the cba is done and the players have nothing more to do then agree to it. Trey wingo mortenson adam schefter and the guys were all suprised by what they called a negotiation ploy that was intended to shift all the public pressure to the players. The players arent shooting the deal down they just havent even had the chance to review the deal before goodell and jerry richardson are on tv smiling proclaiming training camp starts saturday

No smith and goodell had seperate meetings. He wasnt at the owners meeting. Thats for owners.
