Of course it wasn't, because the only other two teams bidding could muster up $10-ish million.If the Bucs wanted him, they could have gotten him, for CHEAPER than what EVERYONE expected.
The Bucs were NEVER in it, I'm not missing anything. From the reports we have, we never even really tried.
