Marshal Yanda - G - Ravens
Ravens agreed to terms with G/T Marshal Yanda on a multi-year contract.
Yanda reportedly turned down an offer of $6.5 million per season, so the Ravens must have upped the ante. They made it clear all along that Yanda would be a top priority. Yanda graded out as a top-five tackle, according to Pro Football Focus, but the Ravens plan to kick him back inside to jumpstart a running game that struggled last season.

Ravens agree to terms with Marshall Yanda

The Ravens let go of a lot of big names on Monday in part so they could spend big money to keep one of their up and coming players.

G.M. Ozzie Newsome confirmed Tuesday evening that the team agreed to terms with guard/tackle Marshall Yanda. We previously heard that the Ravens believed bringing back Yanda was integral to their running game this year.

We got Marshall Yanda! Thats great news, coach John Harbaugh said. He told us he wanted to be a Raven and he understood the business part that he had to go through. Im beaming, you see Ozzie smile and is there anyone more excited than [Offensive Line Coach] Andy Moeller right now? Were a better team than we were one hour ago.

Yanda is likely to move back to guard, but he can play right tackle when asked.

There was a report that the Redskins were interested in Yanda, which surely drove up his pricetag.  He may wind up getting more money than any guard in free agency this year, including Robert Gallery and Davin Joseph

Well anything we give Davin, since we're gonna be stupid and resign that turd, better miles south of whatever Yanda got or we got big time fleeced.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

See ya Davin....Can't say you were a high priority to the fans. Would rather Derek Hardman play in front of you.

I don't know if Newsome scouts their OL personally or what, but damn Baltimore knows how to find good linemen.
