First off, let me just say that Free Agency is one of my favorite times of the year.  As a football fan, it feels like Christmas - even though as a Bucs fan in recent years, it has turned out to be equivalent to getting a lump of coal on Christmas (which then turns into a diamond during the regular season) but I digress....

I started following Incarcerated Bob on Tuesday, and thus  far, he's tweeted a lot of rumors, and A LOT of them have been right.  I don't have the luxury of scouring the internet to find every rumor like I used to.  I have a full time job, I'm in my quarter end, and also have my first year wedding anniversary coming up.  Back in the days when I could though, I would look for every single source to find every piece of information.  Now with Twitter, and our good friend Bob, I have someone who is doing that for me.  Whether he has actual sources or is just looking for every rumor possible, Bob is tweeting quite a bit of correct information before ANYONE else.  Yes, some of it is also wrong, but that's how "rumors" go.  He is doing what I would be for myself if I did have the time.

It would be different if he hadn't made a correct call yet, but at this point, he's made at least 6 calls before I saw it anywhere else.  Period.  I don't care where he's getting the info, or what he's doing to get it, he's a conduit to provide me with information I didn't otherwise have.  I know what I'm getting with him, and no, he's not a mainstream reporter, and his tweets are not "gospel".  But I'm interested in FA, and every little rumor and scoop is entertaining to ME.  I don't care if its not entertaining to YOU, as you just probably think about FA differently than I do.

But think of it like this, when you call someone idiot, or disparage the way they take in their information, what does that really say about your beliefs?  You really want to live in society which controls/judges how other people get their information for their own personal consumption?  Most of us consider ourselves lucky to be living in a Democratic society.  We feel that those attempts at other societies, such as the Communist Soviet Union, or the Socialistic/Imperialistic German and Japanese empires were idiotic and/or Evil.  Well, the main characteristic of those societies was that they tried to control how their people received information so that they could justify their own beliefs.  When you come onto a message board and blast people for the way they follow/receive their information, think long and hard about who is really being the idiot........

What topics are specifically on why someone follows Bob?  I see one stating Bob predicted we are going after Joseph, and another telling people to stop posting  from Bob.  Where is the topic for people who want to say why they DO follow Bob?

Jay...don't sweat it, like he says if the guys want their news here tomorrow...so be it. The guy has beaten Shefter, Mort, Prisco, and Clayton on just about every signing. All you have to do is read his tweets can't deny it if it's there in black and white...he's barely put any misinformation  out there....if any. If you want the breaking news follow him...if you like your cereal soggy, then keep on doing what your doing. But it's clear he has some kinda source feeding him information. No one is that lucky.

You must be imcompetent if you don't see why making another topic on something already being discussed somewhere else is dumb. Go make a new topic on how we should sign Nnamdi and when you do that I will make sure I make one on why we shouldn't.
