If we didn't make an offer. The FO needs to be shot in the face.

Also, the deal averages 12m/year. It could be heavily front-loaded. He's 29, almost 30. I wouldn't be surprised if the first year or two are 20m or more and the remainder not nearly as high.

$12M year w/$25M guaranteed?

This FO/ownership is a f'ing joke when it comes to signing FAs. Seriously, the Bucs didn't wanna offer that to the best or 2nd best CB in the NFL? DISGUSTING

Maybe, just maybe a 30 year old man to man corner didn't fit the zone scheme younger team that our GM said we were trying to build.

If the number is that low do you A) really think we made an offer or B) think maybe he just didn't want to come here?

There's no indication whatsoever that we made an offer. None.

Which, considering the size of his contract, is absolutely ridiculous. This team is great in the draft but they ****ing SUCK at free agency.

Pretty muuch

A slap to the face shall be sufficient IMVHO.

You don't need to play a lot of zone when you have a CB like Scrabble on your team.

Trueblood, 28; Joseph, 27; Black, 27.

Sorry, but Nnamdi is head and shoulders better at his position than these guys who will be 30 at some point during their new contracts. The plan makes no sense.

I think the Bucs FO should be congratulated on not going the easy way out and signing him.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.

He didn't want to come here. If you were him would you want to play in front of a half full stadium every sunday?

To us it makes no sense, but I never had any true belief we were either going to offer or sign him.  It's never been this team's M.O. to win the Redskins offseason title.

You're really gonna rationalize this in favor of the FO/ownership?

Some fans make me SMH.

Ya, that sounds like a great agent JG?, eliminate the team with the most cap space. He obviously went with the money, if he didn't he would have went to the Jets.

He obviously DID NOT go with the money. He made $15M last year and some teams were reported to be offering $18M.

He went with a perennial playoff team that gives him the best shot at a ring.

@ClaytonESPN John Clayton
Nnamdi's decision to go to Philly wasn't a money grab. He was making $15Mil. He gets $12 M a year with $25 million guaranteed.

It wasn't about money

Thank you buchead. By the way, i can't wait to see how smart our FO looks when Nnamdi has to tackle Blount on a toss play :D
