Will I be mad if we don't get him? No. Would I be mad if we did? No.
Do I think we will? No.

I'm inclined to agree!!

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

**UPDATED NFL NEWS**Source: Tatupu will be released - Early rumors have Eagles / Giants / Patriots / Tampa all over him when its official

Well if Bob says we are in on him, we know for sure he is not coming here.

IIRC, from the observation reports we got from fans about yesterday's practice, McKenzie didn't look all that.  I got the impression Foster looked better.  Maybe I'm wrong.

The pads aren't even on yet. Can't judge any football player until the pads come on.

Remember WR Dexter Jackson a few years back?  Apparently looked like an all star until the pads came on and he crapped his pants

those weren't crap stains...they were grass stains from sliding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Whata wussy

I don\'t believe in the Electric Chair...I believe in Electric Bleachers!

I think Tatupu would be an upgrade over Ruud but at the same time I also think , if he can get the mental part of the defense down, Foster will be an even bigger upgrade. Excited to see him play.

If the thought is to upgrade in terms of "pop" at the point of attack over Ruud then I don't know why we'd bring in Tatupu. He hasn't been very good over the past few years and, in the couple of games I saw him play last season, he had the same issues in terms of being dragged around and run over that Ruud did.

I don't know that the Bucs have the answer on the roster for Mike however I don't believe Tatupu would be much help.

Happy and Peppy and Bursting with love.

I think a lot of vets careers are going to be ending or will be sitting out the year.  I know the NFLPA took their time finalizing, but I do not think they realized how it would effect the mid-level free agents.  Especially, the guys coming off an injury.   Teams may take a risk in March and get them on a strict rehab program.  In addition, the teams bringing someone in after TC is already under way is difficult.

Lofa was an absolute beast and a playmaker for years. He absolutely battered the Bucs offense when Garcia & co. went to Seattle a few years ago. Not sure what he has left but dude can ball.
