I actually called this when he got drafted because I read that Brooks was his favorite player. lol I love Brooks, but I think certain numbers look better than others (shallow, I know) 51,52, 54, 55, 56...59 is not one of them. I really am warming up to this kid, after really wanting us to land Martez Wilson, Akeem Ayers, or Bruce Carter. 

P.S.

Roy Miller should have offered to let DQ wear Gaines' old number.  Bowers future with our team (hopefully) >>>>>>>>>>>> Miller's lol

The guy didn't ask Dom for the #, he asked for permission to talk to Brooks. Sounds like respect to me!!

I just hope we get someone at that MLB position with big time attitude. If this guy fits the bill, more power to him.

Gotta admire the kid's spunk to wanna be Brooks's successor and carry on his legacy. Also gotta admire the fact that Dom told him no, but in the sense that Foster should make his OWN legend which is what I've said all along. 8)
