I just happened to look up their roster and their DBs are horrible. With the wePons we have at WR and TE it should be along day for the lions if our o-line can handle that front 4 of the lions

That might be a little harsh. Well, as long as he gives back to him.

That game should sell  out. But will it?

...and beats him with it.

I'm predicting a huge offensive opening day for us. 30 - 20 win.

our o line played against their D line last year...and well, it had mixed results but we won the game right, coach? wait, what do you mean the referee was sleeping when we scored that last touchdown?

I just hope a third string QB doesn't come out and shred us.  I mean, Megatron with Stafford is quite scary.  The BUcs need to prove they can beat the Lions, not the other way around.

We basically have the same team, and they have marginally upgraded theirs.  We added DE's to the mix, but game 1 rookie DEs are not exactly players to bank on.

This game is going to be a barometer.  Or will it?

Let us not forget the Bucs O-line is still the same, and Suh is still the same guy who pushed that pocket around.  And he is a one year vet now...so he is probably even better...

Lions fans talk a lot of smack on the NFL boards and ESPN.  Especially for lions fans.  Some of them still think Stafford is better than Freeman... If he ever gets to play.  As far as I can tell its because he was drafted ahead of Freeman.  Immature stuff like, Stafford has the strongest arm ever, and he's the most accurate ever.  Point out Freemans size and strength and he's immediately slow.  They just can't seem to get their heads around the idea that drafting somebody first doesnt actually make them better.  Anyway, should be a good one.  I really don't want to lose it.
