Who's the fastest player on this team? I read one article that states that Parker is our fastest WR, then I read another about Benn that says we've never had a receiver this big that was this fast. We had no "speed" receivers on the SB team. Same thing with the RBs. Any speed players we had were on Defense. Jones was probably the fastest RB we've had since Dunn in 2001. We've had some pretty fast guys as returners, but no real burners on offense. Mike Williams is clearly our best receiver but he's not the fastest. Briscoe is more elusive than speedy. Then there's Webber, Gant, and Jock, who I know nothing about. Who names a kid Jock? I do know the fastest player on or team is not a RB. It's either a WR or a DB. How do our guys rank?

I would hazard a guess that Spurlock is the fastest...

Go get Bridgewater.   Do what it takes.

my guess is Benn. he always had leads on the secondary with his deep routes. Freeman actually had a few bad passes to him on those routes.  he was a 4.4 guy at the combine too, i think.

I read somewhere on this board that rookie db anthony gaitor was a 4.3 guy. I cant validate that though

WCOs don't need a "speed WR".

Benn is gonna be the biggest threat with speed. Maybe we don't know if he's the fastest but if you watched the games you know he's fast. combine that speed he's shown and the size he has and its probably harder for a corner to stop him than it is to stop a pure speed type reciever.

Biggers and Gaitor ran the fastest 40s. Hard saying who is once the pads are on. Bucs have a few guys all around the same speed that are fast.

Benn is one of the fastest accelerating WRs IMO. Hard to look at his highlights and not think he may be one of the quickest guys in college and possibly the NFL. Top end speed....hard to say, but theres plenty guys faster.

This has been my only worry about this offense we don't have that real burner in the backfield or out wide, but our guys are fast enough to get the job done.

I'm sure they have some players targeted like Briscoe and Blount last year, but I really would like to see the guys we have now eliminate the need. We are accumulating some great talent. They just need game experience.

Biggers, Benn, JJ, and Gaitor are probably the fastest players.

Isn't that little guy, Jock Sanders supposed to be a speedster? Rumor was that he was brought in as competition for Spurlock. Heard Gaitor was supposed to be fast as well.
