Texas won't go to the SEC - they've set themselves up to go independent if they have to or flee to the PAC-10. The odditiy in this is that OU is an epically better program than aTm and they're not leaving and they're not listed as a go-to school to take with. I'd think the SEC grabbing aTm and OU would be better than adding a Mizzou for example.

 I'm not sure what aTm gets by leaving. Instead of the being the b!tch for UT they'll be the new boy in the cell block for UF, UA and LSU. Aggies are letting their pride the get better of their decision making on this one.

This would be HUGE. SEC getting their recruiting feet deep into Texas, WOW.

So the question is who is the other team? FSU makes the most sense. They already play one or more SEC teams every year and they are smack in between UF, LSU, Auburn, and Bama. Clemson is another logical choice both keep the East/West balance.

Or how about the SEC stays at 12 teams and boots Vandy- They seem more Big East-ish anyway.

They probably won't add them till the end of the season. I'm pretty sure they gave Texas A&M the chance to join last year but A&M turned it down.

There's 12 teams in the Big 10.

That about sums up how stupid college football is these days.
