How much did all of that set you back? Got a 401k? Maxed our your ROTH? Paid off your car? Your house?  Your credit cards?  Your college loans? Hope so.

Does anybody ask you these personal questions when you tell them about your season tickets?  And why do you think that is?

To answer your question...a measly 63.80/month for 5 months bruh, Thanks to that new season ticket payment plan.

That's a great question. Pretty sure we already know the answer though. ;)

dude, morgan, often times you seem to be on the same side of the fence as me... but when you say things like this... it makes me just want to say SHUT THE HELL UP AND ENJOY LIFE A BIT - I see the availability to make such comments, I see where you derive that mindset, but sometimes, you just need to have a bit of perspective to keep that negativity to yourself.  we're all here because we're Bucs fans.... don't hate for the sake of hating

The problem with buying those tickets is that if you ever can't make a game, you can't get full value for them.

Wrong

As a former season ticket holder for over 30 years, I know I am not wrong.     Sure, you can sell them for face value at times, but most times you will lose money.  Especially if you have to sell them the week of the game and the team is on a losing streak.

It's American culture to buy things irresponsibly and beyond your means.    Very few of us have all our bills paid off.    I had to laugh on the Panthers forum a guy was saying he had to take a loan to pay for seat deposits for season tickets to the Panthers.    I found that hilariously irresponsible.   Dude is struggling to make ends meet but he feels the need to have Panther season tickets.

Java, as usual, you're on it again  - you got my point. It was a rhetorical question mostly for the posters who are having a hard time paying the bills, made to feel pretty bad for not attending games, made to feel that they're less of a fan -  while some of us (myself included - see other thread where I'm guilty) are celebrating being able to see the games.  Live within your means, watch the away games on TV, listen to Gene on WDAE for blacked-out home games - and don't worry about going to games when the price to attend is so outrageous for most tickets.

@Morgan not sure what you do for a living but is $35 per game outrageous? Even the next price above that is not too expensive. People who say they are fans or "Die hards" have money for the Casino, or Channelside, or Mons Venus but they don't have cash for a team they claim to be a fan of? I don't buy it. I see the Casino and bars packed on Friday and Saturdays, if your a fan and want to see your team you find a way to afford it. Bottom line.

I said "most tickets" -try sitting where normal people want to sit, and you're looking at $90-100/ticket - if you bring a farmily, multiply that by a couple more.

How's your ROTH?
