Per Rotoworld:

Bucs signed WRs Aundrae Allison and Maurice Price.
Allison has speed and special teams value, but he hasn't played a down in the NFL since 2008. Price went undrafted in 2007 after he led the nation in receptions as a junior in the Big South. Both players are likely just camp bodies for depth purposes.

More from Stroud:

QB Mike Coughlin released. Raymond Webber to Injured Reserve

(glad we got him on IR)

Disappointing they didn't sign Chas Gessner.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Could we have released Webber to save roster space or was he under contract?

IR doesn't count against roster

Who knew how good it would feel as a fan when we now know what it\'s like for our team to have a direction, an attitude, and dare I say an offense?.

Good time to be a Bucs fan.

Aundrea Allison
Height: 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m)    Weight: 198 lb (90 kg)
Allison was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round (146th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft.
During his rookie season with the Vikings, Allison served as a wide receiver and kickoff returner. In Week 13 against the Detroit Lions, Allison returned a kickoff 104 yards for a touchdown—a franchise record. Although not starting, he appeared in 11 of 16 regular season games. He caught a total of 8 passes for 122 yds, and returned 20 kicks for 574 yards.[2]
Allison recorded 10 receptions for 109 yards in 2008. After the team's failed attempts to trade him, Allison was waived by the Vikings on August 4, 2009.

Maurice Price
Height: 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m)    Weight: 200 lb (91 kg)
After being passed-up in the NFL draft he was offered undrafted free agent contracts by 15 NFL clubs. He chose the Kansas City Chiefs and again impressed in training camp until an injury ended his season in 2007 and he was placed on the Injured Reserve. Price was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 8, 2007. He was placed on injured reserve on August 28, 2007. He led all Chiefs' receivers in both receptions and receiving yardage in the 2008 pre-season games, including a touchdown at Chicago in his first NFL game appearance. He made the Chiefs' 53-man roster in 2008, but was waived by the team on September 9, 2008 and re-signed to the Chiefs' practice squad on September 11, 2008. He was then waived from the practice squad on September 19, 2008. Following this release he received attention from many NFL clubs and worked out for three clubs before choosing to sign to the Active roster of the New England Patriots.

Couple of practice squad guys.

This is what I think about the Glazers being cheap...

Adding to the already heavy competition for that 6th receiver spot. I liked what I saw from Sanders as a PR Friday, so pullin' for him to make the 53. Knew he'd be quick, but the dude broke some arm tackles on those returns too, which Stroughter never seems to do. Actually I don't think Spurlock is a 'lock' either... Briscoe looks like he'll be competing with Benn for #2. Competition is GOOD!!

I loved Allison coming out of school.  Was disappointed his career fizzled before it started.

I would rather have waited to see who the Giants cut. They might  cut some WR's that would be interesting to try out like Devin Thomas, or Victor Cruz. Weill since Steve Smith is gone maybe they wont.

Cruz would be a interesting pick up. I'm pretty happy with our guys tho.,
