JavaRay, if you are going to use the pictures to determine who is the "most involved," than you are making a mistake. For one, there are 64 pictures up on Yahoo and only 2 involve KW2.

Second, according to Shapiro, his involvement with Winslow was limited to drinks at a club, and a trip on his yacht (he managed to wreck a jet ski - maybe this guy needs to stay away from motorized vehicles). He said Winslow never got cash.

I'm not here to give Winslow a prize, but his actions seem to pale in comparison to several other players - Hester, Wilfork, DJ Williams, etc...

Winslow's father was one of greatest TEs ever so I really doubted he needed the cash. So maybe that had something to do with the cash part.

Gosh, I've watched football since 1975 - you'd think I'd have heard of his father.  But nope, doesn't ring a bell.

top TEs back then made like $40k a year. I doubt his dad being a former TE meant they had plenty of money.

Yea but being a former hall of famer I doubt he has any financial struggles which is the main arguement for a lot of these players taking money. You hear a lot of these player say they need to support their family and pay their bills that is why they do. I really don't think that was the case for k2. His dad was probably still doing pretty well.

I don't know one way or the other, but I think you might be surprised at how many HoFers have serious health issues and struggle to pay their bills.

Your right and I don't know what Winslow situation was but I am assuming. Also he played mainly in the 1980s when salaries started to become way more generous.

Andrew Williams is mentioned quite a bit as well.  Isnt that Chev's brother?

I think you may be correct.

Has Chev weighed in on this yet in another thread and I missed it?
