JJ does two things well: RunThrow the ball when given egregious amounts of timeHe doesn't read the field well, he doesn't throw in rhythm and his ball placement is always iffy if a guy isn't a stationary target. He's a good enough backup and there's a reason he's a backup - like all backups he's not good enough to be a starter.

On another scramble he kept his eyes down field and hit Ed Gant down the sideline to draw a pass interference call.

If he was far more consistent looking downfield he would as a whole be able to take his game another step up IMVHO.

Hard to improve that type of thing when you aren't actually playing.
he's better than at least 5(!) starting qbs that will be starting day 1.
