Apparently he is not allowed to.

I read somewhere that stated if 85 paid it, he would be fined as well. Still, I'd be interesting if he really does put his money where his mouth is...regardless of his own fine for doing it.

I really don't think he has to because I believe he would have but if he really wanted to be a cool guy, he'd do it anyway. I'm sure he has enough money to eat both fines.

If any hit was deserving of a fine it was the one on Woodhead. Dude got straight CRACKED, and it was helmet to helmet (but only because Woodhead is a midget and it's almost hard not to hit him high sometimes).

I guess I learned something today...another player is not allowed to pay the fine of another player.....and this has to be the dumbest darn thing that I have heard of to date.

Foster needs to keep his head up and hopefull the coaches are telling him not to let this get him down, there was nothing wrong with the hit, and thats what they want to see from him.

This is why people are really starting to hate the NFL.   Just put flags on these guys and stop pretending you even care about the game.

The worst part of this whole thing is the guy he hit even thinks it was a legit hit.  How sad.

im sure he would win an appeal on that fine because 20 grand is kinda excessive for an unintentional helmet to helmet
