How would they know if Ocho just gave Foster 20k?

Do they keep tabs on players bank accounts?

Nice!

It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s about building a base, being physical, and restoring pride. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s time for the Bucs to return to being FEARED.

Pro sport teams in America are one of the few businesses in world with the luxury of being able to successfully blame their customers rather than doing anything drastic to improve their product,

Part of new CBA... Player cannot be fined more than 25% (or something close) of gamecheck... Resulting in 20k fine coming out to just over $5k.

Should have given him a 20,000k dollar gift card.

The way I see it, he can't PAY the fine but he can just give him 20k right?

Didn't Suh get fined the same amount last week for his attack on a QB? That seemed almost premeditated, and Suh seem unapologetic for his behavior afterwards. I realize that Foster's hit carried more risk because of the speed of the players involved, but I just can't say that Suh's attack and Foster's hit were in the same category. Perhaps if Suh would have done that to Peyton Manning, he would have been fined more.

do fines like this one come directly from goodell too?

No. These fines come from the NFL's disciplinary office which is headed by former 49er safety Merlon Hanks, Mr. Longneck himself.

I'm not so sure the risk is more with Foster. It doesn't take much to break a person's neck doing what Suh did; and, Suh's action, as you stated, was intentional. Foster's was incidental.

It was a BS penalty, period.
