Did you guys see Stafford against the Pats?    He looks ready for the regular season.    The Pats ran into a buzz saw against the Lions.   What a difference from what they ran into down in Tampa.    I wouldn't be surprised to see the Lions favored week 1 even though the game is in Tampa and the Bucs were 10-6 last year.

Ya see Java...  THIS is a solid post.  What is missing, that SO many others would find fault with, to disrespectfully disparage you...?

And you follow it up with more mental masturbation:

Is there a single game on the schedule that won't be tough?

That depends on how injuries play out.   Last year when the Bucs played the Panthers and the Panthers did not have their QB, I would say those were not tough.
No real problem here, but it's not like Jimmy Clausen was striking fear in any team's heart.

But your tiresome, ceaseless, neverending "slurpage on the Gru-stick" dependably shines through...
During the Gruden years, there were a lot of games that were not considered to be tough.   People used to get angry even when the Bucs won but didn't blow out those opponents.   It seems with this current team though, all the games are considered to be tough.   Lack of respect by the fans for Raheem maybe?
The 2003 Bucs called, and "they want their fans back".  And you put your cherry on it with...  "Lack of respect by the fans for Raheem maybe"

Your disdain for Raheem is noted (and overly documented).  Why not just find a new team to root for until The Bucs hire a white coach, which is so obviously apparent you are clamoring for.

Let me see if I missed anything...  All games (for the Bucs) may be tough this year, because the fanbase may disrespect Raheem Morris.  Check.

Listen man...  Just because there's a little Gru-juice on your chin, doesn't mean you can't wipe it off and move on.  Gruden's gone.  Move on, embrace your team, or find a new team.  Pathetic.

A "Lack of respect by the fans for Raheem maybe?"  Really?  That's just sad man.

It's going to be tough. The Lions have been steadily improving since the departure of Millen.

Of course, Stafford won't be playing against Freeman--the Detroit defensive unit will. They look good, and our O-line looks bad. Detroit's secondary is still suspect, but will Freeman have enough time to exploit them? Not on a consistent basis is my guess.

And Stafford has looked good.

Will Stafford stay healthy for the entire game though?

Will Freeman? Detroit's DL looks scary and our OL looks like something the cat coughed up

Their DL looks good but not unblockable. Just watched their first half again. Suh had a few splash plays but he disappears a lot and doesn't factor in their run D. But that's
always been the knock on him. He will continue to get fined (and hopefully suspended) for his boneheaded plays. He did it again last night (shenanigans after the whistle)
but didn't get caught.

Stafford looked sharp. We'll have to be on top of our game.

If they hired Dungy, I would be thrilled.  (He's black)

You do realize the Bucs would go back to scoring 9 points a game, while Dungy turned it into a run first, second and third down, right?

Dungy knows far more about football than Morris.

Get him a self taught HOF QB and he got himself that superbowl that he couldn't get with his hand picked QB's.

After watching the lions, it appears we will get our asses handed to us week 1 as well..  Unless we come up with a good gameplan
