Freeman "ELITE" QB

Schaub's overrated. Put Freeman in the Texan's offense and it would be unstoppable. I wish we would have made a commitment to be a zone team and bring in offensive lineman to fit when Raheem and Dominik took over. Offensive line is the one piece we're still missing, and there's no clear answers in site.

Interesting. These were my rankings. I'm sure someone will get on me for ranking Vick so low, but he's just too inconsistent IMO. He'll look great some games, and just not get it done in others.

You have Freeman at #7 and Matt Cassel at #20.  Both won 10 games in 2010.  Freeman passed for 3,400 yards, Cassel 3,100.  Freeman 25 TDs.  Cassel 27 TDs.  Freeman 6 INTs.  Cassel 7 INTs.  Freeman 96 rating.  Cassel 93.  There isn't that much difference between the two.

We'll see. Everyone seems to think McNabb is no good anymore, but I'm betting he has a great year with the Vikings. Just too bad he doesn't have better receivers.

"Elite" is such an over used term when it comes to NFL QBs.  Elite signifies the best of the best.  So who is that when were are talking about QBs?  Maybe 6 guys depending on who you ask.

Brees
Rodgers

Some will say Rivers, some will say Big Ben.  Beyond these guys I don't think any other QBs are elite.  There are some QBs in the NFL that have the potential, but that doens't make them elite.

Sage Rosefeld put up numbers in that offense when Shaub was out. I'm not saying that Shaub is bad, just that he isn't a top 10 QB in the league. Not a fair question. Freeman is our franchise QB. I wouldn't trade him for anyone.

Secondly, Schaub is 30. So no I wouldn't want him anyways.

With that said, using the offensive scheme as an excuse for his success is lame. Sage Rosenfels didn't put up sh!t in Houston. He sucked. Look at his stats. 24 TDs and 23 Ints with just over 3k yards in 19 games over three seasons.....yuck.

Schaub's 9140 yards and 53 TDs in two seasons doesn't happen by accident or from luck. Schaub has developed into a helluva QB and is very underrated.

Josh Freeman went 1-5 against winning teams.  I don't see him leading this team to the playoffs.
