JD, I thought it was weird that they kept Derrell Smith off the field all game long. 2nd stringers don't get 60 minutes in game 4. Odd move though.

It was that year and a half with the Patriots that doomed him. He thinks he's supposed to get 8 pairs of socks but the Bucs are only giving him 7. WE NEED 100% BUCS!!!! NO PLAYERS WHO HAVE EVER SET FOOT IN ANOTHER LOCKER ROOM!!!!!!

I saw the writing on the wall when he suggested the Bucs gave the MLB job to Foster.

freaking stupid move! He was insurance against Foster's unknown and one hell of a physical linebacker IMO, plus he was cheap and young. I don't get it.

Mckenzie was out there for most of the game too though and he looked very good! I am so confused by this. At the very least I would think he has trade value.

All I can think is that they are very high on either Lawence or Smith.

Crazy man. Just crazy.

Carlos Dunlap instead of Brian Price in 2010 Trade up for Aldon Smith instead of Adrian Clayborn in 2011 Vontaze Burfict in 2012

That whiny attitude about not getting a fair shot may have done him in. If he were good enough on the field that probably wouldn't have mattered but really he didn't do much of anything all preseason until the scrub game 4. I'm curious to see if they keep Derrell Smith to be that backup MLB or if Heyward will be the guy.

Thing is, he DIDN"T get a fair shot. You can't tell me that they saw enough from Foster in less than a week of practice to make him the starter in Preseason game #1 and then not give McKenzie an opportunity to start game 2.
Dom seems very proud on Mason Foster and is going to ride or die with him.

Can't wait to hear about this one.  He seemed to at least play his way into a backup, role unless there's someone out there in FA, or that they expect to be cut that they're going to bring in.
