Could he replace Geno?
No

he has more starts at WLB than Geno does, so yes....he could. Doubt he will though. His stats look pretty weak. Doesn't seem to be any kind of playmaker.

Could he replace Geno?

Most of his starts with Houston were at WLB

Not only no but hell no. Geno is a quality LB that knows our system.

Some people are never happy with what they have.

He's probably gonna be the main back up at Will. Hayward is the back up Mike, Watson is the back up Sam....I guess they weren't comfortable with McKenzie or Lawence at Will.

Combine says he was 6' and 1/8" So he grew 2' since then? Hard to know for sure. I use to trust the combine measurements over everything else, but lately I have seen them wrong so who knows.

Hypothetically he could but he has a long way to go. I don't see Rah as a coach who limits his players. He could be a swing DE/LB in the mold of Watson for all I care.
He'll get his shot on st and back up duty's at LB but unless he comes in like Ray Lewis, don't expect him to see on the field early in the season.

I was calling for us to sign him all off season. He has played all 3 LB spots in Houston. Kubiak at one time said he thought Diles would make many pro bowls.

Going into year 5 and our QB is still stuck in his rookie learning curve!!!

Wow, then what the heck happened to him?

I'm just curious considering, he went from a 7th Round pick, to Kubiak speaking highly of him, to being released - twice (Houston and St. Louis).
