The Bucs can beat the Colts with or w/o Manning in week 3. They were beatable with him by teams with a good defense and ball control offense.
Their Dline is good but Freeman is better. Our Dline is for real and Manning will either be out or adjusting. Either way he won't be 100% even though that's still better than any other qb.
In Tampa on monday night, the Bucs could win.

I almost gave the lions a win in week 1 as I see it being a defensive game but Freeman usually hits stride in the 2nd half and I see us pulling out a close win in a defensive game. Bucs 17 Lions 12

As much as I want a sweep of the falcons, I think we will have the division locked up by then and they will have more to play for.

I have the Bucs losing to the pack but I think that could go either way. The pack are very beatable and barely got in the playoffs before heating up.
Rogers is the only reason I have them winning but with the big bullseye on their backs, a lot can happen with that team by the time we play.

So far we (collectively) have the Bucs at 9.4/5.8 on average, and ironically VERY close to last years record.  I'll update this thread as others add to it.

I'm also keeping my personal opinions out (maybe), and just gonna leave this brag-thread opinion free, with the exception of "special posters" who refuse to keep things simple and follow 3rd grade level instructions.

I can't remember if you listed your wins & loses in your "5/11 thread", but you are welcome to expand upon your prediction if you'd like.

I know a lot of people will give you the 'ol "but it's the same O-line we had last year" Prowl business, but NOT me.

Take just HALF of those comebacks away and we were a 7-9 team.  Heck, take 'em ALL away, and we're 4-12 last year.

Are we (coach & players) a more experienced team?  Sure we are, but we're still fielding one of the youngest and most inexperienced teams in the league.  Again.

Should we expect improvement based on that added year of experience?  Maybe.

When I try to figure out where we'll end up, of course it's partially based on how we did last year, but in the same thinking I have to consider how we got there.
I see a team that's probably a little better than we were last year, but I don't think we've improved "leaps and bounds" beyond the same improvement 31 other teams have, based on the same additional year of experience as well.
I know (believe) upgrades through free agency would have possibly made us a little bit more competitive, but I also think this team's about a year away from being good enough to believe we're ready to make a realistic Superbowl run.

The teams that ARE - have every reason to be very active in free agency.

Two years ago I said 4-12 and they only won three. So overly optimistic. Last year, I had 6-10 and they exceeded my expectations, winning 10.
I'm going to stay consistent with my negative posts of late and say 7-9. That doesn't mean I think there's no way they could be better and I certainly hope I'm wrong. But the inexperience, coupled with the poor offensive line and lack of running back depth (the last two which could have been avoided) lead me to be pessimistic.
Final vote: 7-9 (and I hope Jason is right so I can wash down my crow with champagne).

We could really finish with anywhere from 6 to 12  wins. I'll wait until after the Lions game to decide on how many games I think we'll win.
