I think the fact that he looked really comfortable catching the ball in that last preseason game might have helped him out also. I mean Lorig is obviously a blocking TE first, but it's nice to see he has good hands too.

I wanted Lee Smith in the draft.  5th round might have been too early for him however which is where he went.  Not that Ahmad Black is looking like a good one.  The guy can definitely block.

Too bad we couldn't get Wesley Saunders as an undrafted free agent. I think he is the exact type of guy we are looking for as that 3rd TE.

We're like the only team in the league to not announce their practice squad. lol

It would be real cutting edge for the Bucs to employ a FB to play FB and a TE to play TE instead of trying to fit a DE to play both.

Happy and Peppy and Bursting with love.

AJ Edds was released by the Dolphins. Don't think we'll be interested, but he is a solid LB and also a long snapper. The guy is big and a solid tackler but excels in coverage. I have a feeling the Packers will get him if he clears waivers.

that's good news (Hardy, Black, Carpenter) - and the Gant fans here will be thrilled...guess none of the other NFL teams thought he was a stud like his PR.com posters do.

@Roy Cummings:
Bucs will also bring LB Derrell Smith and TE Colin Franklin to their practice squad. Still no word on who goes to make rook for LB Zac Dile

Doesn't appear we are interested in Sutton. I guess we are rolling with what we have at RB.....

Still have 6 CB and 5 Safeties though. Gotta think at least one, if not two will be cut from that group of 11. I hope they keep Holland over Mack, but they have done the exact opposite of what I had hoped for so far this offseason.....so I expect to see Mack stay. :(
