This is, easily, the best news of the offseason for the Buccaneers.  This cat is a lottery pick if he's healthy.  A legit stud.
This is a fact.  And potentially a legit game changer on D.

I am usually pretty conservative, but I am expecting big things out of this dude THIS season.  I don't think double digit sacks is out of the question.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"

How about triple digits?

That's only 6.25 sacks per game.    Derrick Thomas had 7 sacks against the Seahawks in a single game in 1990.    You don't think Bowers can be as good as Derrick Thomas?

You may want to look into a program like AA or something.

Finding old posts/threads on here seems impossible, and I don't bookmark anything from here anyway, but I said the same thing a week or more ago.

I, for some crazy reason, think this years D will put up over 40 sacks this year!

I don't see how that's possible when Bowers will put up at least 100 by himself.

Triple digits doesn't necessarily mean only 100.   It could be 999.

Counting on it...  Why do think I said "over"...?

Bowers hasn't played one down in a regular season game.   The hype is just a bit overboard.  When he produces then let's crown him the next Reggie White.  Until then, he's just a rookie ... nothing more.  This current D-line could be shredded.  They are untested and by NFL standards physically weak.  This could be a very long, difficult year.

This guy can be special if his knee holds up...looks to be the case! :D

EDIT:

Look at that spin move on the first sack!
