I'm excited to see our D-line in general. They're young and still have a lot to learn, but I'm expecting us to be improved from last year. It'll be interesting to see how they progress during the season.

Millard sells it for me. I've seen videos of this guy--he fine-tunes EVERYTHING on the line until it's a well-oiled machine! Giving him players like Okam, Clayborn, Bowers, Bennett and McCoy is like giving him a chemistry set with all the ingredients at the ready...All he has to do now is go into his lab and create a monster!

haha like it Beatles. It would be great to see the rookies go out there and make an impact this game this weekend. If Bowers got a sack this weekend you think some scouts and gms will be wishing they took a chance??

An important thing to note is that I don't believe all of our starting D has played together at the same time yet. By which I mean McCoy, Adrian, Bowers, Price/Okham etc. haven't all played together at once.

It will be interesting to see what each other can do with the D coming at all directions!

Is Okam starting Sunday?

Bennett has looked like a very good DE for us in this preseason. If Bowers can progress to a point where he is challenging for his job, we got something nice going.

Bowers, McCoy, Bennett, Clayborn in on 3rd and long. 0% conversion rate! Guaranteed!

Okam has been turning heads since the end of last season. After McCoy wend down Okam became that guy to shut down the run. Hes been the space eater we need this preseason as well.

I think you will see lots of rotations going on like last year. Gotta keep these guys fresh. The good thing is we got some great talent now and whoever comes in brings something to to the table rather than just another body like last year.

I think so, Miller is a good run stopper but Okam just won't get pushed anywhere on the line. I love the depth of Miller and Price Behind Okam.

Bowers hasn't played one down in a regular season game.   The hype is just a bit overboard.  When he produces then let's crown him the next Reggie White.  Until then, he's just a rookie ... nothing more.  This current D-line could be shredded.  They are untested and by NFL standards physically weak.  This could be a very long, difficult year.

There is nothing overboard about the Bowers hype.

The fact he'll see playing time this week is hype worthy.

And he's not just a rookie, he's a human-god. Now show some respect before he issues a bull rush on the camera in your computer.
