Morris singles out Miller, Okam, Hayes, Black
Bucs head coach Raheem Morris didn't wait for questions, using his opening remarks to single out four of his defensive players for poor play at the start of Monday's weekly news conference.
Morris said he didn't like the way nose tackles Roy Miller and Frank Okam got off the ball or the job they did against a Lions rushing attack that accounted for 126 of Detroit's 305 total yards in the Bucs' 27-20 loss on Sunday.
"We didn't get very good play out of the nose tackle position,'' Morris said, bluntly, "and I addressed that with them.''
Morris also said he was looking for more from linebackers Geno Hayes and Quincy Black.
"We need better plays out of our studs,'' he said.
