Anybody remember the last Monday night game we played against Indianapolis. That was a watershed game for the Colts. They absolutely stunk for 55 minutes of the game. Then Payton pulled the game out.... with some help from the referees. That game turned their whole franchise. We didn't get any gifts from the Vikings. They didn't make any costly errors on the field unless you count bad playcalling. We took it from them. As Allen said, "they beat the crap out of us in the second half. They wanted it more." So, hey, let's give a little credit.
Let me rub your BELLY, oh great Buddah...
Don't doubt for a minute that if for some CRAZY reason this team goes all 2002 on us, that the VIKES game will be recognized as "where we turned it around"...
And YOU hit the nail on the head as to why I was THRILLED to friggin' death with this win... YOUR five words...
"We took it from them".
This was a pretty decent, very aggressive defense we faced,,and they by no means "lied down" for us. We got up, dusted ourselves off, and proceeded to open a 6-pack of whoop-ass on them.
I'm telling ya...
These guys could get "scary good" within 18 more games...
