He was suspended on Sep. 23 2010, so my guess is we will hear something on Friday.

When he was suspended, it was said that it was for an indefinite period, but he could apply for reinstatement on September 22 of this year.  That is this week.  The next question is, how long will it take for Goodell to make a decision, and, since it was for an indefinite period rather than a specific period, will he lift Tanard's suspension.

Here's hoping....

.....just my opinion

Why should he "speed this up"?  You and I WANT him too, but there is no reason that he SHOULD.

Remember the report was that the suspension was for an indefinite period, not for a year.  IIRC, it was, with the period for at LEAST a year.

Chaz, it was at LEAST his 2nd, some say his THIRD violation.  Indefinite was proper, IMO.

When he gets back our Secondary will be vastly upgraded right away. I've missed having him back there.

He'll be a great addition all right.  I just hope he doesn't miss as many tackles as he did in 2009.  He was 2nd on the team to Sabby in missed tackles his last full season.  However, unlike Sabby, he MADE a lot of tackles;  hard-hitting tackles.

Seems like Goodell has been, dare I say, almost forgiving since the lockout ended. Sort of a grace period. I could see him reinstating Jackson soon, unless there's something we don't know.

TJax even if allowed back to practice after this friday is probably still a few weeks away from playing. Maybe after the bye week or a little sooner depending on how much Grimm progresses.

Hopefully he is still as good when he returns, I would hate to see him slump due to all the time away.

I hope so too, but last time he came back, after a much lesser suspension, he was right up there with Sabby in missed tackles.  I hope he's found a way to stay in shape and would be ready to go within 3-4 weeks after being re-instated ... if it even happens.

A year away from football is a long time. He's an instinctive player, so I'm sure it wouldn't take him long to get back to speed, but I wouldn't expect to see him week 4 or anything.

If Talib is not suspended then Tanard shouldn't be either imo. Tanard got in trouble with drugs of some kind, Talib it was violent crime(s).

Personally, I care less about drug useage than I do violent crimes. Imo, Tanard has done more than his fair share of "time."

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.
