Last I heard there were only 2k in tickets left.. Seems like a fairly small amnt, huh? If we cant sell 2,000 tickets simply because there's another good show in town- shouldn't this be an example of how fickle the fans are in the region? Both games should have no problems selling out IMO.

This is what I think about the Glazers being cheap...

Last time the Bucs were on MNF was when the Rays were playing a big playoff game and we sold out so I think its easily capable.

Well I already got my ticket for this game so I guess I'll have to do a ton of scoreboard watching from my phone in between plays.

If I had a choice between a Rays playoff game and a crappy monday night football game against the Colts without Peyton Manning, that's a no brainer.   Rays all the way.    Even if I had tickets for that Monday night game, I would go to the Rays game instead.   Anyone who does otherwise is a fool.   We're talking about a playoff game vs. a game against a team that hasn't even won a game all year.

Yeah they both sellout..  1ooo left for the Bucs..  And rumor has it that the Rays will play at 507 pm... So that game may end before the Bucs go on the field..

Bucs-Lightning already World Champions. Rays Next!!!

That would be perfect to go to the 5pm game, then hit RJS about 9pm for the bucs game.

There are way more than 2000 people that care way more about football than baseball.

I think the Rays will suffer more than the Bucs.  Last season's post season games (Rays-Texas) weren't sold out until the last minute (no matter what anyone tells you it was a close call for non-sell out).   I know several people who have Bucs and Rays season tickets. Those are the people that will have a tough decision to make.

That's a thought - if we get an early start (which is very likely- mlb likes to give the marquee teams like Philly/NYY the prime time games), I might just do that.

Who has control over start times, MLB or TBS?  If it's TBS, it's a no-brainer, they're going to put the best draw on prime-time.  If it's MLB, I think they'll put the west coast team at the later time.
