Last season's post season games the Rays pretty much were delegated to afternoon games - I like that better anyway. I think it'll be the same this season.

Just a side note: while going to the Rays game last night, I listened to the Josh Freeman show. He wasn't that familiar with the whole Rays story - he realized they were fighting for a spot, but didn't really know the particulars - and what that tells me is that he is 110% dedicated to his job preparation and has very little time for anything else right now - that he's probably spending 12+ hrs a day at One Buc Place, bunkered down studying tape and preparing.  Great to know that he's very dedicated to his craft.

Who are the Ray's? What do you mean another game? What are you people talking about?
I am very confused?

Great time to be a sports fan in the Tampa Bay Area, 2-1 Bucs with a huge MNF game coming up, Rays in the postseason, and the Lightning are coming off a deep playoff run. This is a lot of fun!!!

As of right now, there seems to be about 650-675 tickets left available according to ticketmaster. 29 hours and 10 minutes till the deadline.

I didn't know you could see ticket total at Ticketmaster. Awesome.

It should sell out. Theres no way the Glazers let this blackout. It would hurt them so much.

I really don't think it would hurt the Glazers. If 200 tickets are left I would imagine they would just buy them but a full stadium minus 200 or even a 1,000 for that matter isn't going to hurt the Glazers.

I sure hope it sells out.  Not too confident in counting the remaining TicketMaster seats ... never seems to be accurate as the team doesn't always release them all until the absolute last day.

Its 1 game of a series for the Rays.....no brainer IMO if you like both teams....Bucs only MNF football this year. Rays will have a game or two more to play. I only care about the Bucs anyways.

I will wish the Rays the best though. great comeback to get in and Im not much of a fan of baseball.

Gotcha. I kinda agree with you, and I'm a huge Rays fan.  I think the only thing that would sway me is if it's a clinching game, but I don't see that being an issue.

Basically, the Bucs haven't been on primetime in three years because they set the all-time, historical low network ratings for an NFL game when they played a Sunday night game at home against Seattle and had to go up against the Rays and Red Sox in game 7 of the 2008 American League Championship Series. This will NOT bode well for future primetime games for the Bucs. It will be like 2 black eyes in a row. I bet you that the Glazers were rooting hard for the Red Sox Wednesday night.
