Wondering how Asomugha is doing with the Eagles???

He doesn't have much in the way of stats.

Wondering if anyone has observed his play??

I was really impressed with the way he helped hold the Falcons to only 35 points a couple weeks ago.

If he was here that wouldn't happen. Oh well, he wanted Philly just like Albert wanted Washington...

He is still better than 90% of NFL corners. He just isn't being used the same way. More zone coverage, more off coverage, so he hasn't been able to take advantage of his elite jamming skills to slow guys down. Bad coaching from the Eagles org.

Yep, on the play I remember, he looked rather bad and generally disinterested. No doubt his focus is on that $$$...

Thanks Hate and others.

Funny how a FA can seem so attractive before the season starts and just be sort of average once the season starts.

I wonder if Oakland had some inside knowledge?

I think a lot of these things have to do with karma. He should have gone elsewhere. He jerked around a bunch of teams and then went to the Eagles at the last minute. Don't believe me? Look at the way LeBron did dirt to Cleveland. He had that Finals meltdown coming to him. Asomugha would have done well here, would have done well with the Jets. But the Eagles situation has disaster written all over it: they have no LBs, their Oline is weak, Vick is injury prone. So he'll be the scapegoat when they don't do the thing so many expected ... go to the Super Bowl.

I'm thinking the Eagles might have been better off improving their offensive line rather than their defense.

True Bashear. They strengthened a strength rather than attacked a clear weakness. Sometimes that backfires.

This, and the game against the Giants was really his only bad one. Calm down bros, he hasn't been getting torched all season and we don't have to pretend that he is just to justify our decision to not pursue him.

EJ Biggers looks like an all-pro compared to that Aso guy. JK, of course. Just keep this in perspective. The highest paid CB ever looks like Rod 'Toast' Jones occasionally. That is part of being a CB. They all get beat, and they all have bad days.

i was gonna do a long response but figured it was pointless...because i dont know the plan.  cant defend something i have no idea on.
