The evil and anti-Buccaneer PFF has McCoy as the 4th best overall DT in the game, behind only Ngata, Raji, and Alan Branch (run stuffer).  They have McCoy as the 2nd best DT vs. the run and 5th best pass rushing DT.  The only negative on McCoy this year is the penalties.  He has the 3rd most among DT's - with Brian Price having the 2nd most.  Gotta clean up the sloppy play, but still remain aggressive.

You must have misread, because PFF is obviously out to get us!!!

McCoy doesnt late hit QB's. Suh has a bad habit of trying to take the oppenents QB out of the game and the commissioner needs to stop it. The guy gets away with murder because he simply says its his "style" of play.

And just for some mid-week kicks, our D'line vs. Detroit's:

...............tackles...sacks
Bucs...........56........06....
Lions...........54........07...

And Cory Williams and Kyle VandeBosch are both over 30...

I know fans want to compare him to Warren Sapp but he looks like a John Randle clone to me.

Price looks like the Sapp clone.

John Randle is exactly right.  Lean, muscular, bottom-heavy, quick.  I don't know where this Sapp stuff comes from.

McCoy reminds me a lot of Kevin Williams

If McCoy turns into a player of either Williams or Randle's caliber I'd be plenty impressed. Hard to say that guy would be a bust.

Payrolls? I have to believe they're spending a bit more than we are.

The play of McCoy, and the DL as a whole, the last two weeks has sent blood rushing south of the border.

Looks like Suh needs more talent around him. How can he be expected to produce with those bums?

I don't really care how McCoy matches up against Suh as much as I do how he matches up against Nicks and Evens in 2 weeks. He has been getting great pentration the last few games, and I'm really looking forward to see what he and Price do matched up against the New Orleans Guards.

Well we were lucky in that we at least got one of them. In a time of need too. Im glad McCoy is starting to flash out there. It was only a matter of time.

I said Mccoy would have a big year...I also said Suh wouldn't do much this season compared to last.

Stats cannot correctly compare the two players.

Every play that Price and McCoy are in together, one of the two gets penetration. Good enough for me.
