While your at it OP why don't you suggest we trade him for Kyle Orton!

BTW you can't say "I know I will catch a lot of flack for this" and afterward expect people to be alright with you being a complete moron.

Is his TD to Int ratio the worst in the league when you factor in his two rushing TD's? Sorry, but you can't discount that part of his game. The guy can score on the goal line, which is a huge advantage over other QBs.
He'll get better this year.

Oh, my bad. That's right, he has one career rushing TD. He is great inside the opponents red zone, huh? Despite his one rushing TD, he is dead last in the NFC and 31st out of 32 starters in the NFL inside the opponents red zone. Would you care to elaborate how this is any advantage?

QB Rating, In Opp 20
Rank Player Team Stats
1 Drew Brees NO 111.0
2 Aaron Rodgers GB 107.7
3 Jay Cutler Chi 104.9
4 Matthew Stafford Det 104.3
5 Alex Smith SF 100.8
6 Matt Ryan Atl 98.5
7 Donovan McNabb Min 96.3
8 Tony Romo Dal 95.8
9 Michael Vick Phi 89.7
10 Kevin Kolb Ari 89.6
11 Cam Newton Car 88.1
12 Rex Grossman Was 87.7
13 Eli Manning NYG 82.7
14 Tarvaris Jackson Sea 81.3
15 Sam Bradford StL 78.8
16 Josh Freeman TB 56.7

Quit making stupid threads.

I'll make you a deal. I'll quit making stupid threads when you quit making idiotic statements.....like this.."The guy can score on the goal line, which is a huge advantage over other QBs."

He scored one TD at the goal line, but the problem is, nine times out of ten he can't even get the team to the goal line. You failed miserably, Homer.

You are right. It's a lot easier to bash me than it is to deal with the facts. The entire original post is fact based. Freeman sucks more than any other QB in the entire league this year. You don't want to deal with this fact.

worse than Tarvaris Jackson?    wow!

Bradford is struggling very badly this year, and Free is rated 20 points lower in the opponents red zone. 20 points lower than Sam Bradford!! That is terrible!!

it has zero chance of happening at this point. He's the Franchise guy and he's only 23. The team is gonna let him take his lumps and continue to draft more talent for him. Didnt you get the memo??

So? Has he not earned the right to get himself out of a slump?

So, you are happy with the offense? You think this is going good? That's fine if you do. I don't. I'm a professional troubleshooter. I find problems and I fix them for a living.

Which is why I stated this in the original post: The number one reason why we need to bench Josh Freeman right now is that we need to find out if Freeman is really that bad, or if the offense and play calling is the problem. We need to know whether we need to hire a new OC at the end of the year, or if we need to draft a QB.

This is the best way to see what the issues are. It's a simple process of elimination. You always have to identify your problem before you can fix it. It's really quite simple. If JJ comes in and sucks, then you know the offense is terrible. If JJ comes in and lites it up, you know Freeman is slumping terribly, and the offense isn't as bad as you thought.

Or, you can do nothing, and hope for the best. In my line of work, that is not an option. I have to fix problems.

Well, this is a message board. Go ahead and make some counter points. Copy and paste some quotes. Give me some insight into why my reasons were stupid. All I have gotten out of you so far is that you think I'm stupid. If you want to debate this I'm more than willing.

JJ has always come in and sucked dude. Youre high if you think hes more than anything other than a backup. Youre going to bench a guy that had one of the best years for a QB ever last year because of a bad stretch and start thinking about drafting another QB. Thats just **CENSORED**ing retarded. Anyone with half a brain and a football IQ above 5 can see the offensive play calling isnt what it should be, the O-line is hit or miss with more miss the past couple weeks, the WRs arent getting open, due to them and play calling, the run game isnt getting going to open up the pass.....the Bucs have won ugly and lost ugly. You want to play musical chairs whe the evidence is right in front of you. Get clue, or at least learn what evidence is.

Im glad you line of work doesnt involve my daily life because Id likely end up with more problems than I started with.
